SuperMoms: Amanda Morris & Brett Cardwell
Amanda Morris and Brett Cardwell are devoted to their work as Advanced Cardiac Sonographers—commonly known as ‘Echo Techs.’ As ‘work besties,’ they scan hearts with precision and compassion. Amanda’s motto, “I scan hearts, no other parts,” reflects her passion for echocardiography, a vital tool in diagnosing and managing heart conditions. Together, Amanda and Brett are cornerstones of the Heart Center at Baldwin Health.
Echocardiography provides detailed heart images to detect issues like heart failure, valve disease, and congenital malformations. Amanda is proud of her role in the talented team at Baldwin Health. “I am proud of my profession and Baldwin Health. We do good and important work and are a vital part of the community,” she says. “The ability to provide life-saving images and measurements is incredibly rewarding.”
