SuperMom: Mackenzie Skipper
When Mackenzie Skipper married her husband, Dan, fresh out of the University of Arkansas, she knew football would be a way of life. What she didn’t expect was the journey of motherhood and the success of Alpha-Lit, the marquee letter business she founded.
After struggling to start a family, IVF blessed them with twin boys, Sam and Jones (3.5 years old), who thrive in the fast-paced football world. They love Detroit Lions games but can’t wait to return to Alabama’s beaches in the offseason. Their newest addition, Miller Kate, arrived in December 2024, stealing everyone’s hearts—especially Sam’s.
Through it all, Dan has been Mackenzie’s rock, supporting Alpha-Lit while balancing his NFL career. “He helps with late-night pickups and tough setups, even though football keeps him away in the fall,” she says. “Once the offseason starts, he’s all in.”
