Bride: Blair + Larry
Blair Smith and Larry Lee were wed in a beautiful ceremony at Heron Pointe at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Blair, an ICU nurse, and Larry, a trauma surgeon, first crossed paths at work, where Blair never imagined the “cool new attending” would notice her. “I got the courage to invite him to breakfast one morning after work, and the rest is history,” Blair shared with a smile.
Their romance blossomed during night shifts, and after nearly three years of dating, Larry proposed at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear. The location was sentimental for the couple, as it was where they shared one of their first dates. Larry made sure the moment was perfect, complete with roses, Blair’s parents in attendance, and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” playing in the background. “It was everything I could have dreamed of,” Blair said. “He nailed it!”
The couple’s wedding day was nothing short of magical, with a black-and-white theme and Blair dressed in a stunning sequined and lace gown with a floral design. Her veil, adorned with pearls, completed the look. The ceremony included many memorable details, including the couple’s son Holland as the ring bearer, making his grand entrance in a white remote-controlled car, and their eight-year-old English Bulldog, Beau, who loyally stood beside Blair during the ceremony.
